Hybrid Instruction Request for FY23

In place of the Educational Service Plans used in FY22, the NYSED AEPP Office has introduced the Hybrid Instruction Request form for those providers seeking permission to provide remote instruction for all or some of their classes in FY23.

Key Points
  • All assessments and case management must be provided in person in FY23 for both in-person and hybrid instruction.
  • Hybrid Instruction must be a maximum 75% synchronous remote instruction and minimum 25% in person instruction.
  • ALE-funded programs that did not submit a request for hybrid instruction are expected to offer 100% of their ALE-funded instruction and case management services in person to their ALE-funded students.

If programs have reconsidered and are interested in hybrid instruction, the Hybrid Instruction Request form must be completed form must be received into the [email protected] mailbox no later than August 15, 2022.

AEPP approval will be accompanied by an AEPP Hybrid Student Screening Tool and a detailed tutorial on the proper ASISTS set up for these classes.
