Agency Description:
The Family Health Centers at NYU Langone offers classes for adults who want to improve their English and/or achieve their High School Equivalency diploma. We offer both day and evening classes of multiple levels to accommodate students and offer additional services to address other needs.

Agency Highlight: 
Our program strives to enhance student-centered instruction through innovative techniques that make learning fun. An example is our recent focus on the arts, which have the ability to enrich and enhance instruction for English Language Learners. Last summer, our 6 week curriculum taught beginner, intermediate and advanced ESOL classes contextualized with music, art and drama with students spending two weeks with each subject and teacher. Students reported high satisfaction with the curriculum and their language improvement.

For ESOL classes, interested potential students can call 718-630-7150 or drop by at the Family Support Center, 6025 6th Avenue, Brooklyn. 
For Adult Basic Education or High School Equivalency preparation classes, interested potential students should call 718-768-0778 or drop by Project Reach Youth at 199 14th Street, Brooklyn, to register.
