NYC ALE Programs 2026-2030
Adult Literacy Education (ALE) funding is used to provide adult education in New York State. ALE is administered by the New York State Education Department. There are currently 19 programs in New York City that have been competitively awarded this funding. The programs provide English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Adult Basic Education (ABE), and High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation.
